Drop in Styleは、地域資源である木材を活用した新規事業を開始いたしました。
本プロジェクトでは、未利用材や地域木材の価値向上を図り、建築・空間・体験価値への展開を進めてまいります。
また、本取り組みの発信拠点として、当社が運営する宿泊施設「月光浴」を位置づけ、館山および西会津の地域木材を活用した様々な商品・空間の開発を推進してまいります。第一弾として、輸入木材に依存しない地域木材を活用したサウナの開発・導入を進め、地域資源を活かした新たな体験価値の創出に取り組んでまいります。今後は、地域産業の活性化と持続可能な資源活用を両立するモデルの構築を目指してまいります。
Announcement of Launch of New Business Utilizing Regional Timber
Drop in Style has launched a new business utilizing regional timber resources.
This project aims to enhance the value of unused and locally sourced timber, and expand its application into architecture, spatial design, and experiential value.
As a base for communicating and showcasing this initiative, we will utilize our accommodation facility “Moonlight Bath,” and promote the development of various products and spaces using regional timber from Tateyama and Nishi-Aizu.
As the first initiative, we are developing and introducing saunas made from locally sourced timber that does not rely on imported materials, creating new experiential value by leveraging regional resources.
Going forward, we aim to establish a model that balances the revitalization of local industries with the sustainable use of natural resources.
